For 3 weeks, I will be avoiding food with:
- Animal Products
- Sugar
- Gluten
- Alcohol
- Caffeine
Sounds crazy, right? Well, I can tell you this: I've been shopping the past few days to prepare, and it's kinda hard to find foods that fit all of the above criteria! Still, it is doable and actually sustainable beyond the initial 3 weeks (I'll think about that when I get to the end of this thing!).
One commitment I will be making beyond the cleanse: I am now a vegetarian!
So, here I will be sharing the joys and pains of this 3 week cleanse, recipes and foods that work on this type of plan, and vegetarian living tips for those interested! Thanks for listening and for keeping me accountable for these next few weeks! :-)
I'm excited to share our experiences on here! so far, even in just two days, I feel like digestion has improved so much. gluten is definitely the hardest to give up so far, for us at least. by the way, we should go to sprouts asap to stock up on a few more important items!
